Microfinance Loans

The goal is to support families or single parents who wish to end poverty and hunger within their family. The individual is given a microfinance loan based on their interest or trade. The individual receives counseling, mentoring, training in business management, savings and record keeping with monthly visits from staff.

They can invest in a business project, agriculture project, craft project etc. with the goal of sustaining his or her family over time and ending poverty.

With this project the  goals are:

1. End hunger within the family.

2. Get children back into school.

3. Improve home structures.

4. Provide basic needs for household (clothes, food, education, healthcare).

5. Pass on a microfinance loan to a struggling friend or neighbor in need within 5 years.

6. Most important the goal of the microfinance loan is to expand or start a new business, increase family income, and improve their standard of living.
